Can sound, wireless and video cards be put in other laptops?

My Sony Vaio PCG k23 does not work anymore because the motherboard is fried. My question is can I take the sound, video and wireless cards from it and put them in a dell e505? I am not sure what is comptiable with what.

Can sound, wireless and video cards be put in other laptops?
If they are individual cards that can be removed from the computer, then yes you can. You'll need the drivers for the cards once you've plugged them into another computer.
Reply:Laptops usually don't have seperate cards for this, they are usually part of the motherboard and can't be relocated to another computer.
Reply:Seems not possible
Reply:call dell support, they will let you know or call software companys that sell these cards, they will tell you if they will work
Reply:Usually the only one fo these that may be seperate is the wireless card if you purchased it as a card and is not internal. All the rest are normally integrated to the motherboard
