How do i find the correct video and sound card to download?

I have installed sims 2 in my computer with 3 expansion packs but the last 2 expansion packs have had graphics problems with flashing,my video and sound cards are out of date,manufacturer is sis,chip type is sis 661fx rev 01,sound card is realtek ac97 audio.I want to make sure i download the correct updates.Thanks.

If you're absolutely sure that your graphics chip is the SiS 661FX and the soundcard is Realtek AC97, you can downloed the drivers from the following sites.





If, on the other hand, there's any doubt in your mind, I'd advise downloading and installing Belarc Advisor. It's a free programme that will give you a comprehensive breakdown of both the hardware and software that make up your computer. You can then go from there.

Judging from your question, you probably want:


Revision A6 S.0 for your graphics.


Revision 3.61 for the audio.
Reply:Go into your device manager and right click on your graphics driver. Click "properties" and then update your driver. If there are any new updates, it will download and install them.
Reply:Just go to their websites, the most recent drivers will be the correct ones.
