If so:
Modems, network cards, things of that such are PCI or PCIexpress
Speakers are a 3.5 MM connection
CD burners are either IDE or SATA
Reply:soundcards.... well people in general do not use them anymore. Onboard sound on motherboards has become very good.
Ethernet... well this is onboard too nowadays 1Gbit/sec
Cd/dvd burner 18x dvd burner, 40x cd in one drive.
All this can be had very inexpensively
