Whats the best sound cards and graphic cards for windows vista?
hi sandra

depending on your budget theres plenty of sound and graphic cards to choose from however if you allow yourself a budget of £100 then you could get these

the HIS ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduc... a brilliant graphics card for it price,i knew you used a agp graphics interface as the fx5200 only came in the agp interface

the ATI Radeon X1650 has some amazing specifications including a 587mhz clock speed and a 512MB-128bit 4 channel DDR2 memory running at 800MHz

and with its ICEQ cooling system this will look the part in any p.c,and of course its 100% vista compatible

nopw for your sound card, with just £36 left of your £100 budget you would normally start to worry, however dont, for a great pci sound card the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 Sound Card from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduc... a great audio device, its audio processor is one of the best around, with 24-Bit/96kHz 7.1 sound, the one thing you will notice about this card is the crispness of the sound, explosions sound like explosions and a gunshot will crack like the real thing, this is a awesome soundcard and combined with the ATI Radeon X1650 this will produce a massively improved gaming experience

any problems let me know

good luck sandra !
Reply:the bin it sound
Reply:None vista is rubbish go back to the trusted xp.
Reply:To be honest, what graphic card you should have depends a lot on what you use your computer for.

Do you play any games? I mean graphically intensive games like Halflife, F.E.A.R. or Bioshock? If not, you really don't need a monster graphics card.

As far as sound goes, you can never go wrong with the Creative Soundblaster
Reply:how much money have you got? just buy the best you can afford.
