How do I get the sound on my computer to work (I have no sound card)?

I have no sound card, and I know I have all the wires hooked up correctly, but the sound will not work. If I need a driver, which one is it, and if I don't how do I solve this problem

How do I get the sound on my computer to work (I have no sound card)?
Your motherboard more than likely has on board sound you can go to device manager (right click on "my computer" for xp or "computer" for vista, then go to manage then device manager) scroll down to sound video and game controllers expand the group and check to see if there's an error for your sound. You should be able to find the drivers either on the motherboard manufacturers website or the computer manufacturers.
Reply:You have sound card on the motherboard, you need to install driver for it in order to work and most likely it is Real tech.
Reply:If there is no sound card then there is no sound.
Reply:get a sound card teh go take ur laptop or computer to the pc shop im sure they can help you from there
Reply:If you actually have no sound card, you won't have much luck with this. You computer needs one to produce sound.

The headphone jack might work, though, if one exists.
