I need to find out the make/model of my ethernet card, sound card, etc. How ?

I had to reformat my computer. Now my system lacks the drivers for my ethernet card, sound card, etc.

So I tried to find out the make/model of my ethernet card, so I can search the internet for the driver, but it doesn't say it anyone on the card itself, or in the device manager.

If I don't know the make/model of the card, how can I find that out?

I need to find out the make/model of my ethernet card, sound card, etc. How ?
Try:

Start%26gt;All program%26gt;Accessories%26gt;System Tools%26gt;System information%26gt;Components

If the information are not there you may have to open the computer and check the name %26amp; model writen on the card itself.

P.S. When you'll learn to write english, may be you'll be understood easily. Read what you wrote and see if it makes sense. We have to guess in order to understand your gibrish.

If you insult people who just extend their help to you, you're the real idiot. I pity you.
Reply:I had the exact same problem with a dell installing xp. Just use another computer to find the driver and put it on a jump drive or CD-R to install it to the one that needs it. To find the drivers you might want to look on the site of your computer brand. Just make sure you type in the model of the computer on the search bar of the site.
Reply:firstly, your pc should come with drivers cd.

you must not lose it.

secondly, get the motherboards name.

search on the internet about it.

download the drivers.

that is all.

by the way, burn them, and don't lose it.

good luck.
Reply:http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-140.... this will identify the components in your pc accurately most of the time programme called cpu-z

simply search forums and manufacturers sites for the corresponding drivers...good luck

%26gt;If you have DirectX installed on your system, it gives some Identification/Manufacture/Driver

%26gt;info on your "System", "Display Devices", "Sound Devices"---Just go to "Run" and

%26gt;type in "dxdiag" to bring up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, then click on the "Save

%26gt;all Information" button at the bottom, which allows you to save a text doc to the

%26gt;desktop, or somewhere else, that opens in notepad...
Reply:Install this %26amp; it will show you all your devices make or model trust me i've been using it for years.
