my sound card plays music files fast. i kno its my sound card thats the problem. so can u tell me how to access my settings for it with windows me?
Is there any way to access my sound card settings on my computer?
Through contol pannel, or hardware mannager.
Try hardware manager first though.
Reply:Click on start, then select the control panel option, then click on sound. Can I have ten points please?
Reply:Might be a problem of your music file and not the sound card. Try other music format.
Reply:You should be able to go to control panel and through there u do to sounds etc. and any sound card or sound card progrm u have would be there.
Reply:did you install the drivers???
start, right click "My Computer" device tab i bleive, but not sure, then look for your card under the devices
Reply:Go to Control Panel...
(If on XP) open 'System' icon
Find the 'Hardware' tab at the top....
Look down until you find 'Device Manager'
In this window you will see a list of devices on your computer and their drivers.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING IN THIS AREA !
If you delete a driver by accident, the device will no longer work.
Reply:start %26gt; control pannel %26gt; sound, speech, adio devices %26gt; sound and adio devices.
then you can look in there but you will most likely need to go to hardware tab and troubleshoot your sounds system.
hope it helped
