I recently reinstalled Windows XP. And I cannot find my sound card in my computer to find out what brand it is (im not that tech saavy). My friend said something about I possibly can do it if I know the brand of my motherboard. I don't really want to open up my computer anymore because I messed it up the first time trying. All i can find is the brand of my processor.
When I go to task manager is says I do not have have any sound devices installed.
Can anyone help me out?
How do I install my sound card?
The most common is Realtek AC97, all 6 of my computers use it, I would install it and see if your speakers work.
