i want to buy a tv tuner card so i can watch tv on my pc. So im looking at the system requirements and one of them is a sound card, and i dont know if i have one. I have a Compaq presario modl # SR2023WM.

How do i nkow if my computer has a sound card?
"The majority of PCs have sound cards either onboard or as a PCI add in card. Look at the back of the computer, if it is newer and everything is color coded you should have at least 3 small round plugs (green, red, blue). Your speakers go into the green connector of that style."

this is correct in your case i suggest if you do decide to get a tv tuner card u get a ATI TV WONDER 200 PCI Tuner Card, i have one and i love it. good luck and remember unplug and ground your pc before u open it.
Reply:Almost all computers have sound. Just get your headphones and look for someplace to plug them in.

Reply:you probably have an integrated sound card. (built into the motherboard) If you have sound, you have a sound card.
