I guess it would be creative, it suits most on all of the motherboards also.

It depends on what motherboard u have, sort of.

Reply:check out the Creative soundcards, no problems with them in my experience, they sound great and if you have a goodwill with a computer store near you or a recycler of electronics that sell used parts you can pick one up cheap! out here in so.cal they're plentyfull, or do like the no-nothings and pickup a new one for an inflated price.
Reply:I've always trusted Creative. The Audigy Value series is priced competitively, and works well enough for basic surround sound audio. IMHO, spending more than 50$ on a sound card isnt' really necessary , lest you're gunning to make your computer the focal point of your entertainment center.

Nvidia and ATI.
Just check the features you want and what your computer will support.
