I have lost my sound card driver cd. How can I recognize what is my sound card and how can I install sound device driver ?

Reply:Download Sisoft Sandra free version (think it's called Lite), and it should be able to give you information about it by interrogating the card BIOS. You could also try a utility called SIW





Is it on board or a separate card do you know?





When you know the sound card type just go to manufacturers site and download the driver.
